For several years now I have been pleased to serve as a scientific spokesperson and advocate for positions adopted by the ATS. Now, as a member of the Environmental Health Policy Committee, I am doing this on a regular basis. So far, I have represented ATS in meetings with the Office of Management and Budget, in meetings with the Environmental Protection Agency, and at a Congressional hearing. Living in Washington DC is a distinct advantage when meetings are changed at the last minute, of course! Here are a few of the documents that supported this advocacy mission:
